Leverage Your Customers

By Uncategorized No Comments

It can be exhausting looking for new avenues of growth for your company. Trying something completely new takes a lot of time and effort, and there’s no way to guarantee success. Unfortunately, there’s no magic bullet for acquiring new quality customers. But, it doesn’t have to be a constant uphill battle either. You can make things a lot easier if you leverage your previous customers for new sales.

Businesses exist because they provide a solution or value to a group of customers. This means that your customers are your most valuable resource in refining the value that you provide them. Ask you customers what they  like, don’t like, what they want to see, how you can help them….the list goes on…but if you ask them – you’ll find out what they want! Ask for their suggestions and ideas, listen to what they tel you about your company and your market.

Referrals are great – get more of them from your current clients. Ask for referrals in all situations.  Have customers refer their family and friends and build your network quickly.  Referrals don’t cost your business any money and their conversion rate is often higher than accumulating clients in other means.

Build your business  credibility with social proof.  When people are looking to buy a product, they want to know they are getting something quality. This reassurance usually comes in the form of customer reviews. With countless numbers of websites devoted to reviewing every type of business, reviews have become the front lines of developing customer perception.
